Are you Lord of your Rings?
Another notable ring you will probably never end up wearing is the The Ring of the Fisherman, also known as the Piscatory Ring. It is an important part of the Pope’s outfit. He is described by the Catholic Church as the successor of Saint Peter. Peter was a fisherman. It has a picture of Peter fishing from a boat. This is symbolic and in reference to the apostles who were ‘fishers of men’. This special Ring was even used until 1842 to seal official documents. I think now they just use email.
What about rings for you and I? Finger Rings. So many types, shapes and sizes? Do you like rings? We love them! There are too many kinds to mention here, but we’ll touch on the top 3 – besides the wedding rings – that’s a topic for another day. Here are the top 3 with stones:

Each have their place.
Solitaire rings are somewhat elegant and belong at special and formal occasions. They can have a single diamond, birthstone or even opal or jade are nice. Eternity rings often have a theme. Some are for marriage and usually have diamonds all the way around. You can also have birthstones of your children as well. These can be worn at any time for any occasion. Cluster rings are often for parties. They can be classy or gaudy. Subtle or overstated. Bright and flashy or elegant and opulent.
Be sure to wear the right rings on your fingers before you go out. They can really add the final touch to an outfit.
