If this is the case, then there is one event that may be especially enticing if they are in Spain February, next year.

Madrid International Fashion Week will take place between February 4th and 6th 2010 at the IFEMA centre and will give people the chance to look at creations from some of the most important designers in the country.

There will also be international exhibitors at the show, as What’s on When reports that “the quality and the competitive price of Spanish goods” is encouraging overseas companies to participate in the event.

How to spend money.

RAJINA RITA SUBRAMANIAM knows how to spend money.

Over five years she is alleged to have amassed tens of millions of dollars before spending most of it in Tiffany & Co., Chanel, Bulgari, other designer stores and buying up prime real estate.

The Sydney woman, who worked as an accountant for ING Australia, is accused of transferring more than $45 million from accounts associated with the financial services giant.

Her spending spree allegedly included more than $13 million at Bulgari, $1 million at Chanel and nearly $300,000 at Tiffany & Co, as well as $18 million on properties at Bondi Beach, Kirribilli and in the city. She also indulged her taste for Michael Jackson memorabilia and plush interior decor.

Ms Subramaniam, 40, of Castle Hill, faced Central Local Court by videolink yesterday on seven charges of dealing with the proceeds of crime and 23 counts of obtaining benefit by deception. She has worked for ING for 20 years and allegedly began stealing from the company five years ago. She now faces a maximum 20-year jail sentence.

According to a police document tendered to the court, ING’s security department began receiving calls in September questioning their employee’s ability to pay increasingly large amounts for designer goods.

Police claim that in early October ING staff searched Ms Subramaniam’s Kent Street office and discovered a cache of designer goods.

Detectives found 21 boxes there, allegedly containing about 600 pieces of jewellery, including a Bulgari diamond ring valued at $810,000 and a Bulgari necklace with a $556,000 price tag.

Ms Subramaniam was arrested on October 4 by federal police officers at Sydney Airport as she prepared to fly to Sri Lanka to attend a relative’s wedding.

She was taken to Mascot police station where police say she admitted to transferring about $13 million in the past 18 months from ING accounts.

Ms Subramaniam did not enter a plea and was remanded in custody until February 26.

Jewelry Rules for Woman

1. Remember “one-statement-at-a-time” rule. It means that you should balance your jewelry items. For example, a dramatic necklace requires modest earrings and vice versa. Similarly, if you don’t want to look like a Christmas tree, avoid wearing more than one massive and bold ring at a time. The combination of 2 or 3 discreet rings is ok within the good-taste limits. The same is for the bracelets. But then do not wear a necklace.

Jewelry sets are traditional gifts. They usually include matching necklace, ear-rings, a bracelet and a ring. Do not wear them all at once.

A necklace is good together with a ring, and ear-rings are a fabulous match for a bracelet. You can compliment them with a wedding ring.

2. Face shape and hair style have an influence on what to wear.

For instance, massive ear-rings look out of place if you have a small face with fine features or short-cut hair. Hair worn piled up is a fabulous opportunity to wear long drop or dangly earrings.

3. Consider your age when choosing the stones and metals that can work best for you.

The good options for a young girl are some strings of pearls, corals, turquoise a-la russe (i.e. set in silver or gold).

More mature ladies are free to wear all possible precious stones.

As to the metals, it’s up to you what to choose taking your taste, hair and eye-color into account. But on the whole, silver jewelry is considered to be an every-day thing, not appropriate for formal and special occasions.

You can combine silver and gold jewelry. But think thoroughly over the combination. For example, silver and gold chains can liven a dark dress up. Never combine a silver necklace with a gold bracelet.

How To Make Her Say Yes During Your Wedding Proposal

There is no guarantee that the woman of your dreams will right away say ‘yes’ during your proposal. This doesn’t mean that she doesn’t love you like you love her. It may just be because she isn’t ready yet for a lifelong commitment like marriage. Or perhaps, she wasn’t just impressed with your wedding proposal.

The traditional ‘will you marry me?’ wedding proposal while having dinner is overused. If you want to impress your girlfriend and ensure that she says ‘yes’ to your proposal, these romantic proposal tips will come in handy:

Invite your girl in your favourite pub or bar. Request for your theme song (the song that you both love and you feel represent your relationship). As she enters the pub or bar, the song will be aired and you can hand your flowers and of course the engagement ring. You can also talk to the DJ and propose on air.

In the window of her room, write your proposal in the dust. When she opens her window curtain, that is the first thing that she’ll see. This is very romantic, just make sure the dust is still there and nobody has cleaned the window yet before she wakes up.

You can make your proposal public. In a concert event, you can go up the stage and propose. Just make sure you ask permission from the performers. Or you can advertise full page in your local newspaper or her favourite magazine.

Take her to the beach. Talk to someone who can spell the words ‘will you marry me?’ on the sand. This will surprise her.

Give her a gift with the engagement ring. The engagement ring can be simple but if you have the budget, you can opt to buy an elegant diamond ring as your engagement ring. Surely, your girlfriend can’t say no. This is the style where you let the engagement ring speak for the proposal.

Wedding proposals should be made unique as possible. You should prepare everything before you actually propose. Don’t forget the engagement ring. Shop around for your engagement ring weeks before your proposal. This is to ensure that you get the best engagement ring for you partner.

These wedding proposal tips mentioned here will make the moment very romantic. They will sweep your partner off her feet and she can decide right away to give you her sweetest ‘yes’. Surely, romantic proposals pay off.
